HRC and Roding Mobility sign a strategic partnership agreement
Paris, France – On Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, Jordi Aranega, Vice President of HRC, and Günther Riedl, CEO of Roding Mobility GmbH, signed a strategic partnership agreement at this year’s JEC World Show in Paris.
Both parties have a long-standing and successful collaboration in the field of e-mobility and in the development and production of composite products. The agreement aims to strengthen the strategic cooperation between both companies in the future, providing customers worldwide with a holistic value chain from the initial product idea to mass production and recycling of composite components.
Roding Mobility’s engineering and small-scale production experts will function as HRC’s competence center in Europe, enabling HRC to offer its customers an agile ecosystem for the development and production of prototypes and small series in composite construction.
For Roding Mobility, HRC bridges the gap between small series production and large-scale production of composite materials. In the future, HRC’s resources and infrastructure in China will significantly contribute to industrializing Roding Mobility’s customer prototypes and small series, and realizing a competitive lightweight mass production.
The combined design-for-manufacturing competency for composite components at both sides will offer customers added value, particularly through measurably lower one-time costs/non-returning costs and appropriately optimized series production prices. Customers will also benefit from shorter development times, faster prototype iteration loops, faster time-to-market and hence overall higher product quality and higher maturity levels.
“The strategic partnership represents a clear one-stop-shop approach for all Roding Mobility and HRC customers, particularly in the fields of e-mobility and composite components,” said Günther Riedl, CEO of Roding Mobility. “We are thrilled to be able to combine our expertise and resources with HRC to provide our customers with a holistic engineering and manufacturing approach for composite components and structures in any type of production volume in the future.”
