We are looking foran experienced Quality Manager for process and product quality to join our team.

Roding Mobility GmbH is a global technology company based in Roding, Bavaria, with a focus on development- and manufacturing-services in the field of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) technology and e-mobility.

Within our “Mobility Prototypes” business unit, we are a leading global “one-stop shop” for innovative and forward-looking mobility projects. As a general contractor for full-vehicle prototypes, technology demonstrators and small series, we offer an agile holistic development and manufacturing process starting with the inital custumer ideas up to ready-to-run full-vehicle. With our 80 employees at our headquarters and manufacturing site in Roding, we bring last-mile delivery solutions (e.g. L7E) to life as well as sports car and hypercar projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibility for the planning, implementation and monitoring of quality assurance processes in accordance with the requirements of the VDA standards (German Association of the Automotive Industry).
  • Implementation and documentation of process and product quality tests across all development and production phases, from prototype production to small series.
  • Development and implementation of quality strategies to ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal quality guidelines.
  • Root cause analysis and initiation of corrective and preventive measures as part of the 8D report.
  • Coordination and implementation of internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3, as well as monitoring the implementation of measures.
  • Supporting production in the monitoring of test equipment and in the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes.
  • Active participation in the development of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to minimize risks in product and process development.
  • Close cooperation with internal and external interfaces, such as development, production and, if necessary, external testing organizations.
  • Creation and maintenance of quality documentation (e.g. inspection plans, control instructions, reports) and presentation of quality indicators to management.

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, etc.) or comparable technical training with appropriate further training in quality management.
  • Several years of professional experience in quality assurance and quality management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Sound knowledge of VDA standards (especially VDA 6.3) and ISO standards (ISO 9001)
  • Experience in conducting internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3
  • Experience with quality assurance methods and tools such as 8D reports and FMEA
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, especially in dealing with complex quality issues and developing sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of quality strategies
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
