To strengthen our development team in Cologne, we are looking for an experienced systems engineer (m/f/d) for EE architecture,
who can contribute their expertise, particularly in cable harness design and construction.

Our “Advanced Composites” division is a leading “one-stop shop” for high-performance composite components and lightweight structures. We offer the “who’s who” of the motorsport, automotive and aerospace industries an agile holistic development and manufacturing process starting with the inital custumer ideas up to the finished product or even complex, ready-to-install lightweight structures and assemblies. With our 80 employees at our headquarters and manufacturing site in Roding, we realize components for Formula 1 cars, helicopters and airplanes, but above all also special automotive series, small series and hypercars.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entwicklung und Definition der elektrischen und elektronischen Fahrzeugarchitektur
- Design and construction of cable harnesses taking into account packaging, EMC and safety requirements
- Creation of system requirements and interface specifications
- Coordination between hardware, software and wiring system development
- Carrying out tests and validation of the developed systems, including functional tests, integration tests and fault diagnosis
- Work closely with other development and test teams to ensure components meet requirements and quality standards
- Preparation of technical reports and documentation of development results.
- Support for the continuous improvement of development processes and methods
YOUR SKILLS:
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, automotive engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in the development of EE architectures and wiring harness design in CATIA (Electrical Wiring Harness Design)
- Good knowledge of vehicle architecture and electronics is an advantage
- Knowledge of tools such as AUCOTEC, Microsoft Visio or comparable programs
- Understanding of vehicle communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Ability to work in a team and to communicate and collaborate effectively
- Willingness to occasionally travel to Roding to support the development results on site
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
