To strengthen our development team in Cologne, we are looking for a motivated working student (m/f/d)
in the field of electrical vehicle architecture with a focus on wiring harness design and construction.

We offer the “who’s who” of the motorsport, automotive and aerospace industries an agile holistic development and manufacturing process starting with the inital custumer ideas up to the finished product or even complex, ready-to-install lightweight structures and assemblies. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entwicklung und Definition der elektrischen und elektronischen Fahrzeugarchitektur
- Design and construction of cable harnesses taking into account packaging, EMC and safety requirements
- Creation of system requirements and interface specifications
- Support with the integration and validation of electrical systems in the vehicle
- Carrying out tests and validation of the developed systems, including functional tests, integration tests and fault diagnosis
- Preparation of technical reports and documentation of development results.
- Support for the continuous improvement of development processes and methods
YOUR SKILLS:
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, automotive engineering or a related discipline (at least 4th semester, thesis possible as part of the job)
- Experience in the development of EE architectures and wire harness design in CATIA
(Electrical Wiring Harness Design) an advantage - Understanding of vehicle communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Ability to work in a team and to communicate and collaborate effectively
- Willingness to occasionally travel to Roding to support the development results on site
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
